"You Have To Trust Process"

Greetings,

“The LORD has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy.” (Psalm 126:3 NKJV)

These words of the Psalmist fill our hearts and minds as we look back at how God has blessed our ministries in the year of our LORD 2006.  We want you to know how grateful we are that you supported us faithfully with your prayers and gifts.

Here’s a quick flashback at just a portion of what GOD has done:

Here are a few of the ministries that have evolved, Children’s, Youth, Women, Men, Benevolence, Food Service, Tape, Wellness/Health, Singles and Correspondence.  We can proudly say that each ministry is purposed and planned to encourage and be examples so that others will surrender their lives to Christ.  The ministries provided basic human needs, and many both old and young experienced a divine intervention.

Beginning in September, we will offer a “Reading Improvement Program” for Youth in grades one through six.  This program will assist with Reading for Comprehension, Word Knowledge, and Recognition.

We have sowed nearly $10,000.00 into Mission, Benevolence work within our church, as well as the community, and surrounding counties.

The Concord Church Family experienced wonderful results of our Pastor’s visionary purpose to begin a church on April 16, 2006; we are in full swing building a church that is purpose and vision driven from the ground floor up.  This is just to name a very few of the basic purchases that begin to embark upon our Pastor’s vision:   children and youth literature, visual and audio equipment, children videos, children and youth educational activities, providing of meals, educational furnishing, computer lab, sound equipment, and the list continues.  But, the thing that was extremely gratifying was to hear different individuals remind us of how this ministry impacted their lives, both socially and spiritually, as well as the importance of maintaining a vision for reaching the world with the Word of God.

We held a Youth Explosion where many, many children from various backgrounds from across Central, Texas gathered as we celebrated, and ministered God’s

Word to them in a very unique way.  The word spread far and near of the successful accomplishments made that day.  We know it will continue to flourish.  We are working diligently to equip Believers to pray effectively and fervently to see God work miracles in their lives.

There are so many blessings this year that it would be impossible to list them all.  But we would be remiss if we closed this letter without sharing one very special blessing with you.

Years ago when God gave our Shepherd, Stanley P. Harris the vision to begin his work, he made the decision to trust God to care for the needs of that work.  My friend, you are truly a blessing from God!  It would simply not have been possible for all of this to be accomplished without your generous support and faithful prayers.

We are so excited about what God has in store for us in 2007 & 2008.  Doors of opportunity to minister the Word of God, and we need your help to be sure we take full advantage of every opportunity.  There is no doubt in our minds that God meant for us to make a mighty impact in Lee and surrounding counties while there is still time to reach people.

We are asking you to please partner with us in our ongoing process of changing lives one person at a time.

Thank you, again for being such a blessing to us, and to the Service of the King, we know that you have a special love gift for the Kingdom’s work.
